Reasonable Adjustments
Employers are required to make reasonable adjustments to accommodate your mental health condition.
- Flexible Hours : Adjusting your work hours to accommodate therapy sessions.
- Work Environment : Making physical changes to create a more comfortable workspace.
Sick Leave and Pay
You have the right to take sick leave for mental health reasons, and you may be entitled to Statutory Sick Pay.
- Notification : Inform your employer as soon as possible if you need to take sick leave.
- Medical Evidence : You may need to provide a fit note from your GP.
Confidentiality
Your employer must keep any information about your mental health condition confidential.
- Data Protection : Your mental health data is protected under data protection laws.
- Disclosure : You choose what to disclose and to whom.
